I have to say, I’m not a big fan of the Americanization of existing characters. I remember a few years ago Marvel gave The Punisher a new stars & stripes outfit. It was cheesy then, and it’s cheesy now! Oh well, it’s probably just a temporary change, designed to bring curious readers on-board one of marvel’s lower selling titles.

have the scoop that Marvel’s Black Panther character is going to get a costume overhaul as part of the Fear Itself event. It looks like the character is going to start sporting stars & stripes on his costume, and take of the name ofВP the American Panther.
